Yes... They took my camera when I was photographing a demo, claiming that I was photographing a nearby millitary facility (the millitary facilities are placed right in the middle of leaving neighborhoods) - after some hours, and a check of the photos there were no millitary facility on them they let me leave the police station, but it took months to get back my camera (I've got it recently)
